- Where can people find the link?
o People can find the link to make an eWallet from your Book Fair’s homepage. The homepage is publicly available 3 weeks before your book fair starts. If you want to share the page yourself, the path is: Bookfairs.scholastic.com > Book Fairs > Host Hub > Fair Account Menu > Fair Details & Settings > log in > click view homepage and/or copy URL.
- When can people make eWallets?
o People can begin creating eWallets 3 weeks before your Book Fair starts.
- How can people running the fair/payment system find who has eWallets?
o When payment systems/registers are connected to the internet, eWallet data is pre-loaded and updated. Balances update throughout the day and throughout the Book Fair. Use the SEARCH feature to find an eWallet by student name, grade, or teacher. Alternatively, you can log into the Host Hub and print a Roster from the Host Hub > Fair Account > Fair Details and Settings page.
- What happens to eWallets after the Book Fair ends?
o After the Fair ends and all registers are closed out, unspent funds become a Scholastic eGift balance available in the eWallet creator's Scholastic account where they can:
- Use the balance to fund a new eWallet for a future Book Fair. (Tip: remind people to use the same email address to log in each time so they see their existing balance.)
- Shop online with Scholastic.
- Contribute any portion to your school's Share the Fair™account.
o Account holders get a monthly email with their balance, making it easy to remember to use their funds.
- If a parent, teacher, or community member has an issue or question with their eWallet how can they get help?
