After School Enrichment Clubs

Mission Statement:  

To provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students to explore arts, sports, and academics, fostering creativity, teamwork, and a love for learning through community-driven volunteer efforts.

• Online registration is preferred-Paper registration forms will be sent home in backpack mail tomorrow afternoon. Checks should be made payable to: SHRSD PTO-Memo line: Enrichment Cash and paper forms may be sent to the Main Office, Attention: PTO. Registration closes Monday, September 22nd.
  
  

Suggested Tuition: $180 per club

• This amount ensures the program remains accessible and sustainable. If this tuition does not work for your family, please enter the amount that works best for you.
  
  

Program Schedule

• Clubs run once a week after school until 4:30 PM. They will run Wednesday, October 1st – Thursday, December 4th. There are No clubs the weeks of November 3–7 and November 24–28. There are a total of 8 sessions.
  
  

Dismissal & Attendance

• All students will be dismissed to the Enrichment Clubs dismissal location where attendance will be taken. Snacks will be provided for students who do not have one.
  If possible, please send a snack with your child, as snack costs reduce funds available for quality programming and supplies. Each club will have a sign displayed; students will gather under their club sign until collected by teachers.
  
  

If your child attends aftercare, please notify Y-Care or The Academy directly of any changes to your child’s after-school plans.

SHRSD PTO 2025 FALL ENRICHMENT CLUBS:

 Mindful Creations Wednesdays with Ms. LaBau and Ms. Weaver 10/1/2025- 12/3/2025 (Grades 1–4): In this unique enrichment program, students will explore the connection between creativity, nature, and mindfulness. Each week, children will enjoy a mix of calming yoga practices, hands-on gardening activities, and creative expression through arts, crafts, and drawing. From planting seeds and sketching what they grow, to crafting nature-inspired projects and practicing relaxation techniques, students will build confidence, focus, and imagination. This well-rounded club encourages balance, curiosity, and creativity while fostering a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

Beads & Beyond Club Wednesdays with Ms. Silverman and Ms. Romanowski 10/1/2025- 12/3/2025 (Grades 2–4): Each week, students will design a new accessory—like bracelets, keychains, and more—using colorful and creative materials. They’ll get to create and design unique projects to take home each week. All supplies are provided—just bring your imagination!

Fitness & Running Club Wednesdays with Ms. Marley 10/1/2025- 12/3/2025 (Grades 2–4):  In the Fitness & Running Club, students will participate in different activities that combine games, agility exercises, and running challenges. We’ll focus on improving endurance, coordination, and cooperation. 

Taylor Swift Music and Crafts club with Mrs. Falcigno Wednesdays 10/1/2025- 12/3/2025 (Grades 2–4): Join the Taylor Swift Club for an afternoon of music, choreography, and fun crafts inspired by your favorite songs!

Stationary and Stamps with Ms. Nedoszytko - Thursday 10/9/2025-12/11/2025  (Grades 3-4): Join the Stationary and Stamps Club to upcycle your own stationary using dyecut shapes, ribbon, tape, leaves and more! Learn how to use and care for stamps as well. Makes excellent gifts!

Little Artists Drawing Club Thursday with Nautilia Clark 10/9/2025-12/11/2025  (Grades 3-4): Young creators will explore shapes, lines, and colors while learning fun drawing techniques to bring their ideas to life!

Hola Amigos Spanish Club with Ms. Bazan Thursday 10/9/2025-12/11/2025 (Grades PreK-4): Join us for a fun language adventure! Through songs, games, stories, and activities, students will explore Spanish vocabulary and culture in an engaging way. Open to all—new, heritage, and native speakers. ¡Vamos a aprender y divertirnos juntos!

Craft & Story Club with Mrs. French  Thursday 10/9/2025-12/11/2025 (Grades PreK-1): Join us after school for Storytime and crafts! Each session begins with a fun tale, followed by a hands-on art project inspired by the book. This club encourages creativity, builds fine motor skills, and helps foster a love of reading—all in a nurturing, engaging environment.

Mad Science-Stem Odyssey Thursday 10/9/2025-12/11/2025 (Grades 1-4): Blast off on a STEM adventure! Students will explore science, technology, engineering, and math through exciting hands-on experiments, problem-solving challenges, and creative projects.

SOLD OUT Cooking Class with Mrs. Rosso Thursday 10/9/2025-12/11/2025 (Grades K-2): Calling all Little Chefs!  This class will focus on the basics of cooking while building confidence, creativity and kitchen safety skills.  Each week the chefs will chop, mix, pour and learn how to work together!  We will focus on seasonal and local produce and recipes with simple ingredients. 

SHRSD PTO CLUBES DE ENRIQUECIMIENTO OTOÑO 2025:

Miércoles de Creaciones Conscientes con la Sra. LaBau y la Sra. Weaver, del 1/10/2025 al 3/12/2025 (1.º a 4.º grado): En este singular programa de enriquecimiento, los estudiantes explorarán la conexión entre la creatividad, la naturaleza y la atención plena. Cada semana, los niños disfrutarán de una combinación de relajantes prácticas de yoga, actividades prácticas de jardinería y expresión creativa a través del arte, la artesanía y el dibujo. Desde plantar semillas y dibujar lo que cultivan, hasta crear proyectos inspirados en la naturaleza y practicar técnicas de relajación, los estudiantes desarrollarán confianza, concentración e imaginación. Este club integral fomenta el equilibrio, la curiosidad y la creatividad, a la vez que fomenta una mayor apreciación por el mundo que los rodea.

Club Cuentas y Más con Ms. Silverman y Ms. Romanowski – Miércoles 1/10/2025 – 3/12/2025 (Grados 2–4): Cada semana los estudiantes diseñarán un nuevo accesorio—como pulseras, llaveros y más—utilizando materiales coloridos y creativos. ¡Podrán crear y diseñar proyectos únicos para llevar a casa cada semana! Todos los materiales están incluidos—¡solo trae tu imaginación!

Club de Arte Young Rembrandts – Miércoles 1/10/2025 – 3/12/2025 (Grados K–2): Este otoño, las lecciones de dibujo de Young Rembrandts despertarán la creatividad de tu hijo con proyectos como una máquina de chicles, un delicioso sándwich y un deslumbrante tocado egipcio. Cada lección desarrolla habilidades artísticas, pensamiento estratégico y autoexpresión—¡la creatividad los espera!

Club de Ejercicio y Carrera con Ms. Marley – Miércoles 1/10/2025 – 3/12/2025 (Grados 2–4): En el Club de Ejercicio y Carrera, los estudiantes participarán en diferentes actividades que combinan juegos, ejercicios de agilidad y retos de carrera. Nos enfocaremos en mejorar la resistencia, la coordinación y el trabajo en equipo.

Papelería y Sellos con Ms. Nedoszytko - Jueves 2/10/2-25-4/12/2025 (Grados 3-4): ¡Únete al Club de Papelería y Sellos para crear tu propia papelería con papel, listón, cinta adhesiva, hojas y más! Aprende también a usar y cuidar los sellos. ¡Excelentes regalos

Club de Música y Manualidades de Taylor Swift con Mrs. Falcigno – Miércoles 1/10/2025 – 3/12/2025 (Grados 2–4): ¡Únete al Club de Taylor Swift para una tarde de música, coreografía y divertidas manualidades inspiradas en tus canciones favoritas!

Club de Pequeños Artistas con Nautilia Clark – Jueves 9/10/2025 – 11/12/2025 (Grados 3–4): ¡Los jóvenes creadores explorarán formas, líneas y colores mientras aprenden divertidas técnicas de dibujo para dar vida a sus ideas!

Club de Manualidades e Historias con Ms. French PreK/K – Jueves 9/10/2025 – 11/12/2025 (Grados PreK–1): ¡Únete a nosotros después de clases para cuentos y manualidades! Cada sesión comienza con un divertido relato, seguido de un proyecto artístico inspirado en el libro. Este club fomenta la creatividad, desarrolla habilidades motoras finas y ayuda a cultivar el amor por la lectura—todo en un ambiente acogedor y estimulante.
